Final Reflection - Live Day

The roles I had were Set Designer and Lighting Director. However this was not the only role I had on the live day. I was also assistant Floor Manager as well as being put in control of Camera Two.

For Lighting, I had to set up four lights, three of which had gel pads, and one which stayed plain. I had to place these in certain positions, where I could change the position of them and access them to change the gel pads, so they couldn't be to high or too low.

For Set Design, I had to plan out where everything would go, where it would go and who would sit where. The set involved two directors chairs, one sofa w/ throw, two acoustic guitars, one electric guitar, an amp, a microphone, a piano and a Rate and Slate wall.

I had some difficulties when putting the set together as it was hard to get all of the four people in Camera two, which was the main set camera which stayed static.

I also had difficulties with the lights when trying to get the right mix of the gel pads together.

To solve the problem w/the Set Design I moved the camera i was in control of, Camera Two, backwards and zoomed out as much as I could, this worked in the end.

I also resolved the issue w/the Lighting when I found dimmers to attach to the extension leads which made it easier when trying to get the perfect shades and ratio of each colour.

I feel I have gained Lighting skills, especially when it came to dimming the lights at the end of the show as well as dimming and changing the lights in a short amount of time while the VTs were running. I had to change the gel pads twice, as well as turning one off and the other on at the same time, while the show was live.

I think I have also gained more camera skills than I had before as well as learning more about how close the set has to be to all fit in the camera.

I would advise someone who is going to be the Lighting Director to carefully plan out where they would have the lights, how many they are going to have and what colour gel pads, simply because I changed these last minutes by adding another light and adding two more colour gel pads and this was very difficult to set up in such a short space of time. I would also advise someone who is going to be a Set Designer, to plan out final changes in advance, making sure all props are accessible, because we had this problem last minute.

Moodboard

I tried out different get colours when i set up the lights. These are what they looked like.
This was an orange get pad on one side and a green one on the other side. I thought this would be a good combination as its quite sly but still looks good.

This was two plain lights with a green one in the centre. This didnt work so well as the two plain lights over took the green light.

This time i got Morgan, one of the presenters to sit in front of the light to see how it would look on her. There is a pink gel coming from the left hand side of her and a teal one coming from the right.

This time i used only one gel pad and it was a yellow one. This gel was used in the live day as its bold and stands out.

This gel was a light blue. Its very subtle but adds a sort of chilling effect to the stage.

Lastly i tried a red gel, one we would definately use in our live day. I brings out colour and created a tension on set.

Week 4, meeting reflection

  As I was away for a few lessons due to exams, one of my classmates Raees (floor manager) helped me by doing the props list.

  This week I have planned to finish the script and cues and re plan out the set design. I have started doing so already.

  As we have done a rehearsed live day, I feel I am working to a near professional standard.

Props List

The floor manager (Raees) had to create a props list within my absence of the lessons, it describes what we will need, where we will get them from and who is responsible for each prop.

Prduction Meeting Two

   I was not in the lesson for the second production meeting, however, I have watched the video of what the others have done and I have outlines what I have to do and who I will be working with. Sam, as the director, informed us where we well be working and what we will be working on.

My Jobs;-
 ;-  I will have to create a moodboard, for the lighting, and this is where I have to set up the lights, with and w/out colour gels, and upload images of these to show how the set will look w/different colours.
;-   I was told that, like many other people, I would have to produce a risk assemsment form, howing all the risks of the lighting and set, how high a risk they were, and how we would overcome them.
;-   I was told that I have the budget, as set designer, and with this, I would choose props. An idea someone had was to get mugs made with the 'Trapstar' logo on it, and this would be a good marketing idea, so I would look into that.

This Week;-
;-   One of my jobs this week, would be to create the risk assesment, I have started this as well as creating a birds eye view of the set design w/locations.
;-   I would need to work w/the director, the floor manager, and the presenters to work out what is going where, what I will need for the props and talk to the graphics prducer to work out colours, which is where I have started to work with Sam (director) to wok out what is going to be in the show, for example, rate and slate wall, so I have already started to work out where thjat would go.

Next Week;-
;-   My Plans for next week will be to create the mood board for the lighting used on th live day, and I will take images of both with and w/out the gel pads, with and w/out the prresenters.
;-   I will also finish and upload the set designs plans.

Set design

One of my jobs is set designer, and I have planned out three main sets;

These three locations bring variety and difference to the set. Its not boring staring at one, but its not too over the top having 50 different sets.

The first set is the main studio, where the two presenters will sit on two directors chairs and the three guests will sit on a sofa, where they will also have boards to answer questions from the quiz.

The second location is in the corridor, I feel this would be good for introducing things, like the beggining of the show and competitions and etc... Its a simple but effective location. I have changed it abit so the cameras can move to this position where all they will have to do is zoom in and out of the presenters.

The third location is also in the main stiudio, but closer to the iMacs, where there will be a rate and slate wall, this will be to the left of the guests chair, this is to make it easy for the cameras to film and for the guests and presenters to get to.

Risk assesment

For the live day, we chose Shriyas idea for the main idea. I was chosen to be the set designer and lighting. For the first part of my job I had to create a risk assesment for the lights.

Production Meeting Reflection

;- Each person in our media class had to create an idea for the way they would like the magazine show to run, the name, the details...etc. We then each had to present our ideas to the class, either by just speaking or using images on the board. We all sat in around the tables and presented our plans one person at a time. After hearing all the ideas, we then had to vote for who we thought had the best main idea, however, if we particularly liked ideas from other people, we said what we would add from theirs.

;- After giving my idea, I feel that there was a positive responce to it, no one argued against it or questioned me, so I feel i sold my idea the best that I could.

;- I voted for Amrit's plan for the main idea. He had called his show YOLO which I did not like, however, I liked the main idea of having pre-recorded random things that the audience can send in, such as;
     - Planking images
     - Running out in the rain
     - Exciting things that teenagers would do...

;- I thought this would be good and entertaining and related to the age range of 14-20 because that is when we are young and would do crazy outrageous things and this would draw the audience in. Amrit had explained the show would run for 30 minutes, which met the brief, and would also be aired on E4.

;- I think that the name needed to change, YOLO is a very overused word and I dont think it suites the style and theme of the show, so I would use a mix of Shriyas name Trapstar and TV to show its about stars and music. I also liked Keren's idea for colour scheme, ORANGE and GREEN this is because its not too girlish but not too boyish which I think is good for this type of show.

My Pitch for programming idea

We will be making a live magazine show, where we will be showing some of the music videos we made. The show will be put out on E4 and must meet the target audience and theme of music videos. The following information is what I have planned the magazine show to look like.

The Title Of The Show!!
The title I have chosen is Tunes On Toast and this is because i would air it in the morning, like Breakfast. It also has an illiteration so it is catchy.

The Studio Design;
The following images are the three difefrent locations I would luse for the magazine show, and a little explanation of why I have chose them.

The Background Ideas;
These are some ideas for backgrounds I had, I have linked them to target audience and the theme of the show. I was thinking of having the logo with the name on the backdrop of the stage.

Content Ideas;
For content ideas, we will need to choose at least three pre-recorded or audience involved parts of the show which will make the magazine show more interesting, I have chose these three;
- A Competition - I have chose a competition as it is usualy seen on most life game/magazine shows. as the theme of the show is music, I would make the prize an iPod with £200 iTunes voucher, as they are both items related to music.
- A Pre-Recorded Countdown - I have chosen this for the second one as it would be a countdown for the top 5 music videos, which links to our theme of music videos, as wellas we would use some of our videos in the line up.
- Phone Calls - I chose to have phone calls in, as it gets the audience involved and it would be a good chance for people to ask the artist questions about their videos.

Presentation Style;
 - For the presentation style, I would have a mixed colour scheme, of the colours black, white and red because these are the neutral yet mostly worn colours of people our age.

- For the presenters costume, I would have them wearing smart casual wear, of the colours red, white and/or black. This will keep to the colour scheme and make them look as formal as possible with out wearing suits and ties, but not looking too casual in tracksuits or jeans. I would also like the presenters to talk unformal, not using slag over the top, but not talking in the best english ever, this is mainly because it is aimed at teenagers, and teens talk in slang/unformal language.
- I was thinking of people like Amrit and Morgan for the presenters as they are both confident with talking out loud and they have the right tones and volume for presenting a show, and they are both very good at communicating with a range of different people.

Visual Style;
For this I would have five cameras, three of which stay in the main stage infron of the green screen, these would show a two shot of the presenter and guest, one on guest and one on presenter. I would have one camera for the news desk, which would be a close up, and use the last camera for other shots, which would also be the portable camera when in the corridor location.
click on image above to view larger

These cameras would show alot of mid shots, showing not only facial expressions but hand gesturs, which are very important as they show how they react and gestures are a clear way to understand what people are talking about.

Running Order;
This is my running order, baring in mind that the live stuff must be at least 15 minutes long. The whole show in total must be 30.

- Opening sequence. (1 minute)
- An introduction to what is goin onin todays show, and an introduction to the competition. (1 minutes)
- Competition, going to anounce winner at end of show. (3 minutes)
- First music video. (3 minutes)
- Interview with the first artist. (5 minutes)
- Interview with second and third artist. (7 minutes)
- Second and third music videos. (5 minutes)
- Phone calls from audience. (2 minutes)
- Countdown and competition winner. (2 minutes)
- Intorduction to after break or next show. (1 minutes.)
Total - 30 minutes

Job Roles and Responsibilities

    On a set, there are many people that each have their own role. Each role comes with a lot of duties and skill they must have or learn along the way. There are ten roles needed to succesfully perform a job, however, more then one person can do some of these jobs...

Camera Operator
    This job is a senior role within a TV camera department. Camera operators have high expectation as they are controlling the cameras and there for are filming every piece of footage and can not screw up or lose focus. With no cameras, there would be no film.
The camera operator needs to have advanced technical skills, such as;
-The ability to carry out instructions with great accuracy and atention to detail - This is because they will have total control over what is being shown on the viewers televisions, if they were not able to follow instructions with detail and/or accuracy, what we see on screen would be out of focus or pointing in the wrong direction.
- They must also know how to use the cameras correctly - This is due to the fact that if they didn't know, for say, how to record or even turn the camera on, they would be filming live or as live and there would be nothing recored or even on screen.
- The camera operator must have in-depth knowledge of electronics with IT skills - As they are around electric equiptment and cameras, they should have the skill to know how to deal with such things.
- They must have good communtication skills with the ability to work for long hours - This is because they are working with other people, especialy other camera operators and the floor manager, so they must be able to communicate well with good manners, especialy if they are stuck with their collegues for a long period of time.
- Have good colour vision and hand-eye co-ordination - Due to the fact that they are working with high-tech equiptment, they must know where to aim and must be very careful, and having good colour vision helps when working with camera, knowing what each colour light means as well as working with codes or keys.
- Lastly they must have a clear understanding of the rules and safetly regulations - This is because they are working with a lot of other people in usualy a limited space with alot of wires and expensive equiptment, they must know how to behave sensibly and responsibly around such equiptment, also knowing all emergency drills incase of a fire or an accident.
    Camera operators not only have to develop skills, but they also have certain duties that they must undertake each time they are reqired to film;
- They must be on time to set - If they are late, no filming will be done, especialy if it is live, they must not be late or the timing of the live production on tv will be late and viewers will not be pleased.
- They must make sure thy have all the correct camera eqiptment if they are filming on location - Simple, without the camera equiptment, nothing will be filmed.
- They must have learnt the script and the camera movements and what order they go in - This is extremely important, especialy for game shows filmed as live as the order in which each camera goes in, if one camera is late to record or move to the correct shot, it will confuse the audience and/or ruin the order of the script.

Director
The director probably has the most important job. They plan what goes on, what goes where, the times for what happens, and withou the director, the set would be a mess with no hierachy to set things straight.
The director has o have pretty much the same basic skills as everyone else, for example;
- Having good communication skills - This is because they will have to talk to each and every person at some point during the day, especially the people in the booth with all the computer equiptment.
- They must be patient - Working with a lot of people can be tiring, so they must be patient and calm, if they are calm and relaxed, then the rest of the crew should follow as the director is the most senior role.
- The director has other skills, such as financial and marketing skills - This is because he/she is planning what everything will look/sound like, so they have to think of the bigger picture, what will make people want to watch/buy their product. They must have the skill to be able to sell something to an audience, make them want to watch the show they are submitting.
The director not only has to have the skills, but they have alot of duties;
- They must be on time/earlier than the others - As they are in control of the whole set, they have to be on time to not only set a good example, but also to make sure everything is ready and in place for the filming they will soon begin.
- They must have a good knowledge of the script at hand - Knowing when to cue the cuts, the graphics, the lights and/or the guests if needed. As they will have to doa countdown at least ten seconds before they go on set, they must know before hand what is coming up next.

Lighting Desk
The people at the ligthting desk are quite important, they are in control of the whole lighting for that set, especially when inside.
Like all the others they have certain skills;
- They must have the knowledge of how to handle technical equiptment - They are surrounded by electronics on the lighting desk, they must know how to behave and be responsible around such expensive equiptment.
- They must pay attention to detal and follow instructions - On lighting desks, there are a lot ofbuttons, levers and symbols. The lighting operators must know what each of these do, and must be able to follow instrustions by the director in a short period of time, with the correct precision and detail.
- They must have good colour vision - Not all of the lights and/or buttons are the same colour, they must know what button puts on which colour light so they must have that memory to know which is which aswell as understanding the order of the colours.
- They must have an excelent knowledge of the rules and safety regulations - They are working with electrical equiptment where there can easily be an accident.
The lighting desk also entitles duties such as;
- They must be on time to work - This is because they need to check that all the lights are in place, all the buttins work and all the bulbs and screens are in place and ready to go.

Sound Mixing
The sound mixer is responsible for recording all the sounds before hand, making sure they have all the correct sounds for that day, in the correct order.
They must have a number of  skills as well
- They must have the skills to operate the audio mixing equiptment - If they dont know how to then it would waste time. It is important to know how to deal with the eqiptment.
- They must know how to record and mix the certain tapes/CD's - This is because they are in total control of how loud/quiet it will be, how fast/slow the speech will be, and they are incontrol of playing the music at the right times. If this is all out of time, the audience at home will not be very impressed.
- They must know all the safety rules and regulations - They are working with high-tech equiptment and must know how to handle it if there is an emergency.
Sound mixers have duties to make sure everything is in order;
- They must be on time with all the correct equiptment - They are incontrol of the sound for the whole set, and if there is not sound, the show may as well not be worth watching. Having the correct equiptment is important if they sort it out before hand, it saves time when they are on set.
- They must have a good knowledge of the script - Knowing when to change the sounds, mute it, lower.higher the volume...

Vision Mixing
These people are in control of what the people see on their TV's. They edit the show live or as live, making sure it is interesting for the viewers to watch.
These are some of the skills they must have;
- They must have the knowledge of how to operate the mixing equiptment - knowing what each manoeuvre does and when to use it.
- They must also have skill to edit at the right time - Cutting it on time is probable the most important thing, so the audience stays involved and engaged to what they see on screen. If what they are watching is messy, they will not want to watch it.
- They must have the ability to multi-task - As they have to listen to the director, watch the screens and change what is being seen, they must be able to focus carefully with out being distracted.
The vision mixer has a number of duties to undertake aswell;
- They like everyoone else, must be on time - As they are vision mixing, they are very important as they control what people see, they need to make sure tehy are on time, knowing what they will need to do for that day.
- They must also make sure they are energised, ready to work for long hours - They not only have to multi-task, but they have to focus well and work for long hours, they must make sure they are physicaly prepared.

Set Designer
The set designer is incharger of what the stage looks like when they film, what furniture goes where, where the people on stage are going to be placed, props.. etc.
Key skills that the set designer must have;
- They must have the ability to draw to detail - they will have to create blueprints of the set before they decide which ones they will use, they must be able to draw precisly.
- They must have good colour vision - This is because they are working with a lot of frniture, people, props and other things that may be placed on the set, colour coding would usuial be needed, they must make sure the colours match and are working with the theme of the set.
- They must make sure they have the skill to take in critisism - The director may not like some of the ideas the set designer has, so they must be able to not takt it to heart and use the critisism to better their plans.
The duties the set deisgner needs;
- They will need to make sure they have planned out what the stage is going to look like before the day they film - This is because if they haven't they will slow down the filming process.
- They need to make sure they are on time with the equiptment they need - This may not be alot of equiptment, especially if the set has been set up before hand, but if they have had added changes, they will need to be to the set on time or earlier to make theses before the time they were planend to start filming.

Graphics Genorator
The graphics generator is in control of the graphics/animations that appear on the screen.
These are the skills they need;
- Computuring skills, knowing how to use softwares - They must know how to use the softwares, otherwise they will be stuck and the graphics may not be to their best standard.
- They must know how to edit online, upload and animate such graphics - This is handy for making transitions from one graphic to another, not only this but to make it interesting for the audience at home, having different types of graphics but keeping it all linked to the current theme.
- They must have good communication skills - As they will be working with the set designer, the vision mixer, the director and other people on site, so they must be patient and able to communicate well with manners and patience.
Graphics generators also have duties;
- They must be on time to loccation with graphics ready to put in place - This is very important, without graphics the show would be dull and especially with interviews no one will know who is speaing and what they do...etc.
- They must be reliable and responsible - They need to be reliable to make sure they will get everything done by the deadline, responsible enough to make it the best it can be, for the right times, the right theme.

Floor Manager

The floor manager is in control of the set while filming. They give instructions from the director to the camera operators and presenters, without speaking.
These are the skills they must have;
- They must be able to behave sensibly and quietly - When they are filming, the floor manager has to give out instructions without noise and much movement.
- They must be able to communicate well - As they will be talk
ing and working closely with the presenters, director and the camera operators, giving them instructions which must be understandable.
These are some duties they must have;
- They must be on time, reliable with the eqiptment they need - Without the floor manager, no one ill know what camera to switch to, when the graphics will appear, when the presenter needs to start talking.

VT Operator
The VT operator is incharge of getting all the film/tape ready for showing.
These are some skills they need;
- They must be know how to work the equiptment they will be using - This is handy other wise they wouldnt be able to set up the tape with the graphics/sounds..
- They must be aware of the safety regulations - As they are working working with technicals, thy mustknow what to do in a difficult situation.
They need duties too;
- They must be reliable - As they are in charge of the tapes, without them, for example, no music videos would be seen.
- They must make sure they have the right tapes - With the wrong ones there is not much point. Also making sure the tapes are ready the day before.

Presenter
The presenters have quite an important job, with out them, there would pretty much be no show.
They need skills however;
- They must have a good memory - They will need to learn a script for realistic effects.
- They will need to be able to focus well - If they are easily distracted, the show will not be real, it will be off putting and not be enjoyable for the audience.

- They must be a good listener, communication skills - This is because they will need to follow instructions from the director and floor manager, also understanding when to start and stop talking.
They have duties just like the others;
- They must be on time with a good knowledge of the script/day to come - This is because they are the people/person who 'runs' the show on stage.
- They must be reliable - Being late will slow down times, make more takes and if it is live, it needs to be on point.

What Programme Formats Use Multi-Camera Production?

There are six main genres of tv programming for using multi-camera;
Live
Sports
Concerts
Public Events
Studio
Game shows
Chat shows
Magazine shows.

Multi-Camera
Multi-camera is used for both practicle and aesthetic reasons. People use multi-cameras as it is easier and quicker to film as there are more then one cameras in use. They are usually fixed cameras, used inside sets with two or more cameras which are cut between live and 'as live' to cover an event.
Advantages
- There is more then one view so there is multi choice within the editing.
- It is good for replaying in slow motion with live sports from a range of different angles.
- For spontaneity, if something were to happen unexpectedly, you would have it on camera.
- For speed, you can film more than one scene if a sitcom... and it gets done quicker as you will be most likely to film once.
- For continuity, all the shots are filmed at once so nothing will be out of place or change. You see everything.
Disadvantages
- For certain shots, i.e. Over the shoulder in, for example, Eastenders, you would have to use single camera as you could see the other camera in the background over the other persons shoulder which would ruin the effect fo the scene.
- When filmed in location you would need to carry alot of equiptment and it takes longer to set up that single camera would.

I am going to present to you some exaples of why multi-camera are used, both practicle and aesthetic.

LIVE SPORTS
Roger Federer vs Robin Soderling Wimbledon 2009 (live tennis)

This is a clip from the 2009 Wimbledon tennis match between Roger Federer and Robin Soderling. As you can see there is about 5 cameras present. These are used for two main reasons;

Practicle Reasons;
- To show both of the players as they are facing different directions, full body language as well as facial expressions.
- To capture everything that is going on as well as the audience reactions.
- Because this is an 'as live' show, it would of had to have been filmed only once so the use of multi-camera would capture everything that is going so it is continuous and edited as if it were live.

Aesthetic Reasons;
- It covers evrything thjat goes on as well as the players reactions. For example, they show close ups on the players faces as they are about to serve as well as showing their reaction when they lose or win. (the image below)

CONCERTS
Eurovision SC Finals 2007 - Ukraine

This is the Eurovision clip from the Ukraine entry. As you can see from this clip there is alot of camera movement which makes it entertaining and fun to watch.

- From the start of the video as they show the graphics titles, they do a fast zoom into the singers face, then do a slower pan/zoom showing how the audience is reacting to the song. This is a good way to lead the viewers emotions, for example if the audience is enjoying it and waving their hands up then the viewers should show interest and enjoy it too.

Practicle Reasons;
- This was filmed live, which means there would of had to be alot of camera to capture anything and evrything that happend.
- Eurovision is filmed in a very large space area. It would have been very difficult to film everything we see in this video, with just one camera.
- Most of the cameras that pan across the audience are on a crane, and this is a very good practicle reason to capture not only the main singer on stage but also the dancers in the background.

Aesthetic Reasons;
- Using multi-cameras in a concert like this is a good way to bring across the mood of the scene.
- For example, As this song is very pbeat and wild, the movement of the cameras as well as the speed of the cuts goes with the speed and mood of the song. There is a lot of circling of the stage and zooms and just like the song it is crazy as if the room is spinning.

- This use of multi-camera has been very successful, for both aesthetic and practicle reasons. The number of shots that have been used as well as the number of times the camera moves is alot which I feel is good compared with the type of song this is.

PUBLIC EVENTS
Princess Diana's Funeral

This was a public event which thousands saw live as it happened.

Practicle Reasons;
- This was shot for a longt ime so there would of had to have been many cameras to keep swapping to keep it live.
- The funeral as you can see was filmed from inside a cathedral where the reception was as well as being outside where the cameras follwed the coffin through London. So there had to be at least two cameras, one for inside and one for outide, not forgetting the fact that there were various outside locations.
- This was filmed live as mentioned above so the use of multi-camera would of captured anything spontaneous.

Aesthetic Reasons;
- There were hundreds of people on the streets of London, so using multi-camera filming, would show just how many people came to see Diana's funeral. This is also a reason to communicate meaning with the viewer as we see just how important this day was, as well as how sad an special it was too.
- The camera movement and cuts, unlike the Eurovision example, were slow and less exciting. This also shows the viewers the mood of the day, and as it was quiet and very organised, it shows importance.

- I feel that the use of multi-cameras for this specific event was very succssful; the audience at home would not have had the same emotion as if this were to be filmed with a single camera.
- The fact that this was a public event, filming with multi-camera also makes this day rememberable as you have multiple copies from many angles showing family and friends as well as the coffin itself.

GAME SHOWS
Takeshi's Castle

This is a game show filmed before it was put on television.

Practicle Reasons;
- This is filmed in a large location, so there would have to be multiple to cameras to capture all of the action from every angle possible.
- There are a lot of people to get on screen, so if anything spontaneous happens they will catch it.
- Just like live events, they cant re-film what goes on so they have to film it as live.

Aesthetic Reasons;
- The players are more or less likely to fall, so there are replays shown, there for to keep it interesting for the audience, they show them in a lot of different angles.
- Using multi-camera shows facial expressions as well as body language as well as showing the audience angles of the course to come.

CHAT SHOWS
Alan Carr

This is a chat show from Alan Carr Chatty Man.

Practical Reasons;
- There are people facing different directions so there would have to be more then one camera to show the audience at home the presenter, the guests and sometimes the audience reactions.
- As, in this case, three guests, they each would have different reactions, so they would use multi camera to show each and every facial expression.
- It makes filming it as live easier and neater, without a lot of camera movements.

Aesthetic Reasons;
- It makes it look good for the audience if all of the cuts are on time and not moving all over the place.
- Having the audience reaction helps the viewers at home to feel how the audience on set feels, it pushes them to how they should react.

MAGAZINE SHOWS
BBC1 Breakfast

Breakfast is a live magazine show, filmed in many locations.

Practical Reasons;
- As this is live, there would have to be multi cameras on set, to film all the people.
- There are many rooms in the studio, so there would have to at least be as many cameras as there are rooms, as well as the fact they do live interviews in outside studio locations.

Aesthetic Reasons;
- It makes it interesting for the viewers to see each person as they talk as well as seeing the on location.
- As they are filming in a big location, the viewer feels more involved with what's being said on the show as the camera moves about more and shows more expressions and movement from different angles.
